PE128A Course Schedule

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course provides all the prerequisites needed to attend the Scientific Diving course, PE 128B. This course meets both the American Academy of Underwater Sciences (AAUS) standards for scientific diver rescue and first aid training, and the UCD requirements for Safety Diver (TA) training. The goal of the course is that divers gain more confidence in their own skills and abilities, and thus be comfortable in the water and safer divers.

PE 128 A will concentrate on diving safety and planning. Certifications for; Scuba Rescue Diver, DAN Diving Emergency Management Provider, ASHI 1st aid & 2‑person CPR will be earned. This is a four-unit course.
